Training FeesU.S. $6,500 This three week training program is designed for programs converting to the clubhouse model from another program or for new clubhouses. Tuition includes training and lodging for the Clubhouse Director, one staff member and one member as well as a post-training site visit. Tuition also includes training and lodging for an individual with administrative oversight responsibility for the last week of the program. If requested, a post training site visit or precertification visit to the new clubhouse may be negotiated approximately six months to a year after training. The site visit is not automatic; however, the costs will be included in the tuition for new Clubhouses. A two-week training alternative is presently being offered on a pilot basis. The cost for the two-week training is the same as the three-week training. The cost for an extra person for the entire training experience is $2,000.00 and for an additional administrator the final week is $900.00. Since all training bases charge the same fees, you can also see a breakdown of the fees at the International Center for Clubhouse Development web site at www.iccd.org Ongoing Training (Established Clubhouses)U.S. $4,500This three week training program is equivalent to the training for first time participants but is designed for the clubhouses where the Clubhouse Director has already attended training. Tuition includes training and lodging for member and one staff person for three weeks. Additionally, tuition includes training and lodging for the Clubhouse Director or an individual with administrative oversight responsibility for the clubhouse for the last week of the program. If requested, a post-training site visit or pre-certification visit to the clubhouse may be negotiated approximately six months to a year after training. The site visit is not automatic and the costs may be shared between Gateway House and the clubhouse that is requesting the visit. Generally, all expenses over $500.00 will be billed to the clubhouse requesting the visit. As mentioned above, a two-week training alternative is being offered on a pilot basis at the same cost. Tracts Three-Day Orientation U.S. $1,000.00A three-day introduction to the Clubhouse model is provided for interested individuals not currently affiliated with an established Clubhouse. This orientation is meant to be a brief overview of the Clubhouse way of working and not a substitute for Clubhouse training. Tuition includes the overview program and lodging for two people (a mental health consumer and a staff person or other interested party) for two nights and three days.
